Light for the journey

A cloudy sky hung over Greensboro, North Carolina a week in May when peer Life Design Catalysts and I explored our life stories.  We creatively expressed what meaningful work looked like for us at the most recent LDC training and workshop. Academic persistence and life success for college students was the impetus for many of us attending and we were blessed with amazing energy from students who embraced the approach.

Light for Journey

As I reflected upon the SparcK model activities and how it contributes to the work of life coaches, I was reminded why Light Vision has meaning for me as the name of  my life coaching and mentoring business.

Illuminating life for meaningful growth with joy and authenticity.

  • Seeing and Being.  Observing self in the moment with astute awareness of place, emotions, thoughts, sensations, and relationships. Experiencing life in the present moment, listening with focus and empathy, and inspired.
  • Learning and Planning.  Exploring values, feelings, interests, skills, and how do I most want to move forward.  Envisioning goals toward an increasingly meaningful  and authentic life with peer coaching support.
  • Doing and Reflecting.  The journey synergistically continues with renewed energy!

Becoming a self-expert is a journey-like process, and lifelong learning spurs me to be ever vigilant in expanding toward my best self.  I am so thankful that my years of education and coaching experience allow me to be a catalyst for others to live life with more meaning and purpose!

"There does not now exist, nor will there ever exist, any single theory of learning that is broad enough to account for all types of learning yet specific enough to be maximally useful in practical application." --- Dr. Christian J. Weibell, PhD
